Two weeks before the election, this may not be a popular thing to say. However, I am sick to death of RINOs. Here in Massachusetts, we have Sen. Scott Brown bragging (yes, bragging) in campaign ads that he saved Planned Parenthood from cuts, that he voted to allow homosexuals to serve in the military, and so on. In fact, I’m having a hard time thinking of any real conservative credentials he has touted. Richard Tisei, an open homosexual running in the MA 06 Congressional District, is doing much the same thing. Same goes for Senate candidate Linda McMahon, wife of a bona-fide sleaze merchant, in Connecticut. Well, all three of these individuals are in tight races in very blue states. If any of them win, it’ll be out of disgust for their opponents, and not much else. Yet, even if they do win, what do any of them think they have to gain by trying to appeal to voters whose main concerns are birth control, abortion, and homosexual ‘rights?’ Even here in New England, most people care about the economy, first and foremost. While some Obama voters will cast votes for Brown, Tisei, and McMahon, I seriously doubt it’ll be because of their positions on Planned Parenthood or other divisive social issues. Liz Warren and the other respective Democratic opponents have that constituency locked up. Keep in mind, Brown didn’t win office in the first place because Massachusetts voters were thrilled with Obama: It was opposition to Obamacare that put him in office! Scott Brown, Richard Tisei, and Linda McMahon are never going to have the support of radical liberals. The sooner they figure that out, the better off they’ll be. Stick to the economy and other ‘lunch-pail’ issues, and let your opponents wallow in the mud.
