U.S. hiring up for the fifth straight month, but is that actually a good thing?

Dig a little into the linked article, though, and it is revealed that the overwhelming majority of those jobs are in the low-paying service industry. And, while low gas prices are good for consumers’ wallets, certain energy companies are now laying off workers amid falling earnings. It always pays to read between the lines, and not just accept blanket, deceitful declarations from the powers-that-be.
